Cycling to the Ashes

Yesterday in Belgrade, I meet one of my first twitter friends (*) !!
Oli Broom is an English guy traveling around the world. Not like us, he is not stopping in Istanbul and he will continue until the border of our flat world until Bisbane, Australia. His big tour will pass through Africa, Pakistan and India, Indonesia etc. (of course much more than that .. )
He started just two days after us in October with this fancy idea: to play Cricket in every country that he crossed. Challenge where he succeed for the moment, playing Sunday in the top of the fortress in Belgrade, for example.
Of course, we were in Belgrade in the same time so we had couple of beers comparing our tips and our (pretty close) traveling experiences… For example the fact that we can ride 80km without feeling tired, and being tired after 10 steps in stairs (cause of non trained muscles, of course).
Except that he doesn’t heard the joke « The guy in the back doesn’t pedal »… I don’t know why … we have it all the time, in every languages.
It was definitely good to not feeling alone on the way. And also to think that there is other crazy guys sleeping under the tent in winter 
.
